15 Only Fall Program

After a successful inaugural season, the Chippewa Steel are excited to one again offer the 15O program for the 2025 fall season! Our inaugural season saw our team compete with teams from 8 different states at various showcases.

Our 15O program offers a strong schedule which competes against high-end full season Tier 1 AAA teams from across the country.

The 15O program introduces our players to our overall NAPHL Prospects programs including the NAHL Prospects Challenge in May and the NAPHL Fall League.

Our 15O players will learn our program expectations, culture and what it takes to compete within our Steel programs at the 16U, 18U and NAHL level. If you have any questions, please reach out to Cory Hunt: cory@chippewasteelhockey.com

Tryouts:

• Dates: March 29-30, 2025
• Location: Chippewa Ice Arena
• Schedule: Check-in at 8 AM on 3/29 and last game done at 4 PM on 3/30
• Cost: $25 - 1 practice, 3 games & entry to Steel game on 3/29

• NAHL Showcase: September 25-28, 2025 (Blaine, MN)
• Fargo Force USHL Showcase: October 3-5, 2025 (Fargo, ND)
• NAPHL Showcase: October 10-12, 2025 (Blaine, MN)

Uniform

Players will purchase a uniform set that includes a home/away jerseys & socks and breezer (pant) covers. Players are asked to wear a black helmet and black gloves.

Exposure

• Exposure to NCAA, USHL, NAHL and other junior leagues
• Over 15 Steel NAPHL players have gone on to play in the NAHL

Hotels

• Tournament events are stay to play. Out of town players are required to stay at league partner hotels. We will send out booking links for each event.

NAPHL

Celebrating its 16th season in 2024-25, the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is made up of three Leagues: T1ER (Tier 1), SHOW (Tier I/ II), and the FALL League (September / October Season).

The NAPHL has established itself as one of the premier grounds for development and exposure. The success of the leagues' players at the next levels of hockey is proof that the NAPHL is redefining exposure and has elevated itself to one of the premier training grounds for development and opportunity.

A record-breaking number of NAPHL players have advanced to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) in recent seasons. In 2023, the NAPHL had a record 95 players Tendered or Drafted into the NAHL. Plus 79 Players were tendered or Drafted into the NA3HL. Also 24 players drafted to the USHL. 200+ Alumni in the NAHL, 160+ in the NA3HL, and 40+ in the USHL. 9 players are currently listed on the NHL Central Scouting for the 2024 NHL Draft.

Since 2020, no other USA Hockey Midget Tier I league has had more players play in the NAHL.

The NAPHL is operated by the NAHL's experienced staff and provides an organized and competitive experience guaranteed to benefit all of the participating student-athletes.

The NAPHL is composed of regular-season events leading up to its Championship Tournament in which the top teams at each level compete for a league championship.
