15 Only Fall Program

The Chippewa Steel are excited to announce our 15O program for the 2024 fall season! This program will be an introduce our players to our overall NAPHL Prospects programs including the NAHL Prospects Challenge in May and the NAPHL Fall League. Our 15O players will learn our program expectations, culture and what it takes to compete within our Steel programs at the 16U, 18U and NAHL level. 15O will compete in three tournaments including two NAPHL events. Level:

• 2009 birth year

Games & Practices:

• 16-18 games between NAPHL events and non-league teams
• 8+ hours of practices including training camp
• Training Camp takes place 8/16 – 8/18 at Chippewa Ice Arena
• Most practices will be on a Sunday in Chippewa with 1-2 Twin Cities practices

Game Schedule – SUBJECT TO CHANGE:

• August: TBD (2 games)
• 9/13 – 9/15: THF Showcase (3-4 games) @ Twin Cities
• 9/26 – 9/29: NAHL Showcase (4 games) @ Super Rink (Blaine, MN)
• October: TBD (2 games)
• Mid-October: NAPHL Showcase (4 games) @ Super Rink (Blaine, MN)

Exposure

• Exposure to NCAA, USHL, NAHL and other junior leagues
• Over 15 Steel NAPHL players have gone on to play in the NAHL

Hotels

• NAHL/NAPHL events are stay to play. Out of town players are required to stay at league partner hotels. We will send out booking links for each event.

Cost:

• Full time: $1,500 – includes practices, games & team apparel

NAPHL

Celebrating its 14th season in 2022-23, the North American Prospects Hockey League (NAPHL) is made up of three Leagues: T1ER (Tier 1), SHOW (Tier I/ II), and the FALL League (September / October Season).

The NAPHL has established itself as one of the premier grounds for development and exposure. The success of teams on the National stage, as well as the success of NAPHL players at the next levels of hockey, is further proof that the NAPHL is redefining exposure and has elevated itself to one of the premier training grounds for development and opportunity.

The NAPHL has enjoyed a record-breaking amount of advancement in recent seasons, which is highlighted by a large amount of advancement of players to the North American Hockey League (NAHL). In 2021, the NAPHL had a record 89 players Tendered or Drafted into the NAHL. Plus 123 Players were tendered or Drafted into the NA3HL. 

Since 2020, no other USA Hockey Midget Tier I league has had more players play in the NAHL than the NAPHL.

The NAPHL is operated by the NAHL’s experienced staff and provides an organized and competitive experience guaranteed to benefit all of the participating student-athletes.

The NAPHL is composed of regular-season events leading up to its Championship Tournament in which the top teams at each level compete for a league championship.
