18U & 16U NAPHL Fall League

PROGRAM DETAILS

Levels:

• 18U: 2006 & 2007 birth years
• 16U: 2008 & 2009 birth years

Games & Practices:

• 18-20 games between NAPHL events and non-league teams
• 10+ hours of practices including training camp
• Training Camp takes place 8/16 – 8/18 at Chippewa Ice Arena
• Most practices will be on a Sunday in Chippewa with 1-2 Twin Cities practices

Game Schedule – SUBJECT TO CHANGE:

• 8/18: Team Westwood (2 games) @ Chippewa Ice Arena
• 8/23 – 8/25: TBD (3 games) @ Rosemount Ice Arena
• 9/13 – 9/15: NAPHL Fall League Opener (4 games) @ Super Rink (Blaine, MN)
• 9/20 – 9/22: Open Weekend (2 games) @ Chippewa Ice Arena
• 9/26 – 9/29: NAHL Showcase (4 games) @ Super Rink (Blaine, MN)
• 10/11 – 10/14: Fall League Playoffs (4 games) @ Super Rink (Blaine, MN)
• 10/26: Janesville Jets (2 games) @ Verona Ice Arena (Verona, WI)

Exposure

• Exposure to NCAA, USHL, NAHL and other junior leagues
• Eligible for the NAPHL tenders given to all NAHL teams
• Over 15 Steel NAPHL players have gone on to play in the NAHL

Hotels

• NAHL/NAPHL events are stay to play. Out of town players are required to stay at league partner hotels. We will send out booking links for each event.

Cost:

• Full time: $1,650 – includes practices, games & team apparel
• Alternate: $825 – includes practices, training camp games & team apparel

NAPHL Fall League

The NAPHL Fall League is comprised of 16U and 18U teams operated and branded by NAHL members. The League play is strategically located and schedule to allow for additional development and exposure for players before the Minnesota, Michigan and Wisconsin high school season begins. Players that compete in the NAPHL Fall League are eligible for the NAHL Subsidiary tendering system exclusive to the NAPHL.
